Weekend Warrior

The weekend is here (can I get a woo-hoo?!?), and with its lovely arrival comes blissful opportunities.  It always amazes me of how much inspiration can be found out there in blogland.  I am constantly finding genius project ideas that literally have me counting down the minutes until I can find the time to conquer them.  Just tonight, for example, I stumbled upon this lamp shade update from Just a Girl.  I can't seem to get the picture to upload, but it is absoultely goregous, and I can't wait to find a lovely lamp in our house that deserves its upgrade. 
Well, anyways, back to my point...the internet is full of inspiration, and you all never cease to amaze me.  That's where the Weekend Warrior fun begins.  Here is where you can upload your fun DIY projects (anything and everything is perfect!).  Others can stop by and enjoy and hopefully get inspired to try some new things.  So join in the fun (please)!  There's just a few simple rules:

Weekend Warrior

Yep, it's that time again...calling all weekend warriors out there.  Here's our chance to do a few of my favorite weekend things: read blogs, get inspiration, knock out some projects, and share them with interested folks.  How fun does that sound? 
Last week was my innagural Weekend Warrior party, and in case you missed it, here was some of the fun inspiration shared:


Sherry of Splendiferous Girls shared her DIY cake stand: just glue a stand to a plate...genius!

 And Patti at a A Moment of Simplicity shared a fantastic no-sew pillow project using Seam Glue, which unfortunately, my lovely computer won't currently upload (sorry!).

Anyhow, you get the idea.  Here's your place to share your favorite creative idea: a craft, a recipe, a DIY project.  Others can then stop by and hopefully get some inspiration.  And the best part?  It's super simple...just follow these easy rules:

Get Your Juices Flowing

OK ladies and gents...this marks a grand occasion for me and my little blog here.  When I started blogging a few months ago, I did so because, among other reasons, I was so inspired by the vast creativeness (I'm nor sure that's a word, but you get the idea, right?) that exists out there in blogland.  I have been stalking various blogs for the past few years, and in doing so, have been inspired to attempt projects that I would have never dreamed possible.  Even as I get more daring and inventive myself, I still often turn to my friends in blogland when I need a little motivation.
So, here's where we share the wealth.  Each weekend I am going to host a Weekend Warrior party.  This is your chance to link up and share any creative idea you've got: a DIY project, a recipe, a craft, whatever it may be.  After the weekend's entries are complete, I will review them and share my favorites the next Saturday.  Sounds like fun, right?  Not only do you get to share your genius, but hopefully you will find some other projects to inspire you in the future:
