Last week that bold wall finally got the best of me and I decided I had to do something about it. Luckily, we still had plenty of paint left over from painting the other three walls of the dining room. So, I whipped out my painting clothes, a roller, and took about an hour and a half to transform our wall into this:
Better, right? But of course, just painting the wall is not enough to satisfy me. Now I have a whole dining room makeover stewing in my brain. I'm even digging the yellow/coral accents...hmmm |
And finally, I have had my eye on this West Elm beauty for years and think it would be the perfect replacement for our ugly fan in there:
The best part is I found a fantastic DIY version of the same chandelier if I'm really going to get serious about this makeover! So, actually this makeover could be fairly cost-effective...we might just have to get on it. What do you all think? You like the new plan?
