DIY Letter Art

I heart Pinterest.  I know, I know...if you've heard it once, you've heard it a million times.  But seriously, does Pinterest not have absolutely EVERYTHING you need in the form of inspiration and how-tos.  This little project is the perfect example.
I'm sure you all have seen those photography letters word art things.  Obviously that was a horrible description, but basically the photographs are taken of letters and then you put the letters together to make words.  You can buy them all over the internet for about 50ish dollars.  Well, a few years ago, a friend of mine used a site to create her own version.  However, as she explained it to me, it seemed uber complicated...she had to search for each letter, and then perfectly size it, resize it, etc to get the letters to be the right size/clarification.  Needless to say, I never attempted it.
And then I came across a link on Pinterest to this site.  All of the letters you would ever need are there at just one easy click.  All I had to do was download them and print them out...so easy even I, totally sleep-deprived, could do it!  So I did, and I took them and turned them into this:
OK...that's a pretty horrible picture, but you get the idea.  I bought 5 basic 4x6 frames from the Dollar Store and painted them white.  We had an old board laying around, so I gave it a coat of aqua spray paint.  Finally, I hot glued each frame on.
I would like for Josh to go back and trim up the board some, so there is not so much excess, especially on the top and bottom.  And I'm debating whether I should sand the board a bit to give it a more weathered look.  But for about $5 and maybe 15 minutes of work, I'm pretty happy with it!  It's just patiently waiting to find its new home somewhere on our back porch.
What do you all think?  Can you think of any letter art to create?  Maybe even as a gift...hmmm?
