What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Hump Day all!!!  Ever since I started participating in Jamie's weekly blog hop, I am amazed at how quickly Wednesdays come around.

This week, I'm loving date nights.  My parents were nice enough to offer to watch Colton for Josh and I on Saturday afternoon and evening, so we could enjoy some much-needed downtime and a nice dinner out.  It was heavenly (although very quick!).  We went to Ruth's Chris for dinner, and while the meat there is obviously tasty, I am a huge fan of their bread and butter...the stuff is delicious (like I asked for some to take home with us).  But the best part of the night was getting to spend some one-on-one adult time with my husband.  We don't get it often these days, so it's really exciting when we do.

I'm loving my new white cardigan from Express.  It's so simple, but I have paired it with some of my favorite dresses that I usually can't wear to work (strapless, halter, etc) and a thin belts and voila...I have an appropriate outfit.

I'm loving my DIY family sign that I reworked this weekend.  It looks 10,000 times better than my original version...I love when I have an epiphany that actually works!

I'm loving that we are headed to Washington DC this weekend to visit my sister.  She will be moving back to the Beach next month, so this will be our last family visit, but this time the WHOLE family is coming...as in Josh, me, Colton, and Chipper.  Luckily, DC is only about 3 hours away, so hopefully this road trip won't be too stressful.  I love nice hotels and get a little giddy about staying in them, so I am super excited to rest my head here this weekend
